is meekins being recruited? heard he was defensive player of the year n the bsal last season. how’s st.pats d lookin this season?

I haven’t seen St. Pat’s play this season (anyone who has feel free to weigh in), but they’ve held their last four opponents to a total of 39 points.
Meekins was the BSAL’s defensive MVP last year. Not sure if he’s being recruited, but if I hear anything I’ll let you know.

Yes, Meekins is being recruited but have not selected a school as of yet. He reminds me of a young Jesse “The Hammer” Tuggle, when he hits it hurts. He can’t rest much this year because that Trio of backs; two of them are gone, Wyatt and Souza. Wyatt was the slashy speedy back who pushed Meekins and Souza to run with that extra spunk. Now that Wyatt and Souza is gone I think Meekins is not going to be as explosive this year because he has to devote much time on both sides of the ball. Don’t misunderstand me, he’s still going to get his shots though.
