Any updates on Div IV seedings?

  2. Casey Moreno Says:

Dougherty Valley is a sham. They had a chance to be in the DFAL this year but rather chose to be independent and play a very weak schedule. Who did they play??? Look at the overall record of their opponents—its embarassing. They do not belong in the playoffs–period! The good thing is that they are forced next year to play in the DFAL where they will finish in last place not winning one league game—NOT ONE!!! I predict they will not win a DFAL game their first two years in the league because of the weak schedule their coach put together

  3. E Says:

A sham? dougherty valley has no seniors and they almost beat Dublin. Then again i would gloat too if one of my teams only wins were against a team with no seniors. I dont know how many wins they will have next year but i know of one for sure. They’ll have a nice homecoming night after they smash Dublin’s sorry ass. Im suprised they even let Dublin play in the DFAL considering they’ll be the stepping stone for a while. Then again i wouldnt have expected much from someone who runs a fake punt when the game is already put away. Class act, a real class act there at Dublin.

  4. DV Fan Says:

If I were the coach of Dublin, I would be concentrating more on my own team and less on Dougherty Valley. Don’t know what DV’s record will be next year, but this is what I do know…DV had 8 wins 2 losses. DHS had 2 wins 8 losses.

  5. GREG Says:

Isnt this DV’s first year of varsity football, and no seniors? i looked at DV’s enrollment and its just above 900 students while dublin high comes in at over 1400. DV only has 28 guys on their roster. No one would join the DFAL under those circumstances.
Good Luck DV! Way to make history!

  6. Charlie Murphy Says:

    Dear Mr. Moreno,
Thank you for your insite I was very compelled by your agrument. I have been a long time fan of the pop warner team the San Ramon Valley T-birds and have always wanted to see what it would be like if they played in DFAL. This season Dublin showed me how that exact scenerio appears. My son’s ten year old team could give up less yards per a game then Dublin. Four-hundred yards per a game that really says a lot about coaching. They also showing the world the softest three-hundred pound man to ever exist. His refusal to actually hit people, some might call that worthless, but I mean he was only doing what he was coached to do. However, two wins is a very successful season appartly so congratulations on beating Albamba by two and a team with no seniors by eleven. Losing by an average of twenty-one points is clearly the vast goal which you aimed for at the beginning of the year, I’m amazed you actually accomplished it. Being a sportswriter for thirteen years I have come to see that a quality High School football team is like a well greased machine. You my friend have produced the equivelent of a machine well greased with feces. One of my all-time favorite sayings is what did the five fingers say to the face? You’ll find out next year big hombre. You can reach me anytime at 1-800-SLAP!

  7. Big Money Says:

Charlie Murphy is lost. First of all, I know Casey Moreno personally. Second, he’s a great coach and an honorable man. He would never talk trash or make predictions. It’s not in his make-up.

Facts – You can’t squeeze blood out of a turnip. Silva had no success at Dublin prior to Moreno either. Dublin is a horrible place to coach football because the talent pool is almost non-existent.

Facts – Moreno took a bunch of thugs with talent at Hayward and turned them into champions by teaching them things like self-control and discipline.

Charlie Murphy, you’re a goon. Crawl back in your hole.
