Did I not call it cv did beat odowd in mens bball, mens soccer, and girls soccer unlike SL we do not talk smack and not back it up whoever has doubt in CV let me tell you basketball team is almost all sophmores…. and both mens and womens soccer is all juniors so listen up for the next 2 years you will se CV ON TOP! DAYS JAN 7-9 ALL ABOUT C.V. AND O’DOWD
on the 7th yes the girls might get smacked ok…….
boys basketball we are going to win cv cant loose i used to go to odowd and trust me they do not have nearly as much fire as cv does the den makes the world a better place
Nick jones fires every1 up we all see him during the day and he pumps us up for that den!
Jan 8th mens varsity soccer….. i play on cv and my brother plays for odowd but little do they know we are about to smack them cv is undefeated in all our sports as of today in league…. i can promise you just like the basketball game we will be the second best game of the year… hell we might even get the trojan den out there
Jan 9th girls varsity soccer…. the score is going to be 6 to 0 maby 6 – 1
CV were gonna win all three im sorry
im not talking mess or trash but its just the truth we are taking 3 of 4 games this week it is a done deal unlike SL or O dowd we do not recruit we have natural talent!

Hayward beat Los Lomas Tonight getting a little payback from last yrs NCS defeat. Hayward looked really good tonight I believe Keith Martin had 6 blocks and Davion Berry finished the game with 20 points and a couple of crowd wowing assist. When Hayward is on they are on. I look forward to seeing them play one of the other top teams in the HAAL.

Big revealing game next wednesday CV at O’Dowd. The winner takes the HAAL in my opinion, barring a surprise by underachieving Hayward and still good SL. If we rolled 60 deep in san leandro, i think we can roll 80 in o’dowd. we really need to take over that tiny gym. I think the outside shooting of Parker and Bobbitt will overmatch the size of BOD. Defensively, we will have to work hard to keep BOD outside the paint.

Interesting note: Castro Valley has not lost in a blowout in the last two years. Our biggest loss was a fluke 6 pt loss to Berkeley a couple weeks ago. We are always in games, no matter who we play.

The OAL can definitely make that claim of four solid teams and can actually say all six are solid. Tech tied for last place last year and this year has a win over defending NorCal finalist De La Salle on the Spartans home court. ‘Nuff said there. Castlemont was the other last place team and its 9-2, including a 5-point loss to St. Mary’s (although I don’t think Brew played in that one).

last league matchup worth watching of the league is Hayward-Tennyson Div 2 playoff implications game. I know Tennyson got Hammered by BOD but they don’t have the size to play with the Dragons but the 3 guards at Tennyson matchup well with Hayward and its a pretty even matched . Davion Berry will be guarded by the Sophmore Sensation Hameed Ali or his brother Qaadir

That’s true Ccosby, but four out of nine teams being solid isn’t bad. There is no other league in the East Bay, except maybe the OAL, that can say they have four solid teams.
