Man, if the kid can play the coaches will find him. You dont just lead the area in rushing for like two years and not go unoticed. He needs to stay were he is and show what he can do.

Yeah I agree with YV fan. If he really wants to show he can run the ball on the next level, the pro style offense will suit him best, and if he were to transfer to Grant he would be going to a passing team, what sense would that make. Plus I heard his old coach is going to Acalanes with their new coach.

He actually has 5 years high school coaching experience. 3 at Alhambra H.S after he graduated and 2 at huntington beach hs in orange co.
His offense will feature a power running game that will fit patrones skills perfectly.

I believe that it would ruin his eligibility. Rules of undue influence state that he cannot play at a school where his former coach is coaching.

He’ll be there for 1 or 2 seasons before they go shopping around again. I heard Patrone will be transferring.

Not sure how a pro style offense will work here… We have just been Double Wing for so long thats all the kids have ever done. What will he do with Patrone? He would be a perfect Fullback in a pro style offense.

I see he has great NFl and college experience but only one year of HS football. Coaching HS is completely different, he has to worry about keeping kids eligible, and all of the other administrative business that goes along with coaching HS football. especially at a school like YV
