San Ramon Valley 1, Clayton Valley 0

SRV will try to become the first NCS soccer team to ever win four straight section titles. Although this should be the toughest, going up against the best team in the nation. Ashley Edwards scored in the 32nd minute for SRV, who held off CV in the second half. SRV was playing without its leading scorer, junior Grace Leer.

Clayton was the better team in the second half, but couldn’t put one away.

Boys 2A

Girls 2A

WHAT A GAME OVERALL LOVED THE TEAM PLAY BY FOOTHILL AND THE TEAM HEROICS BY SAN RAMON. PLAYERS WHO REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN STOPPAGE TIME AND OT WERE FORWARDS REILLY PARKER AND GRACE LEER and GOALKEEPER CHRISTINE WALDEN FOR THE WOLVES.
