NCS Pick’Em challenge finals

Looks like it will come down to me, Prep Fan and DonFan.
There have been 79 games so far — 8 to go.
Last round, no one came up with Newark over DLS (although we all know HSSJunkie wanted to make that pick deep down).
Big props go out to Bikerider and Trojan 56, who were the only two to pick No. 5 Analy over No. 1 Bishop O’Dowd in D3 boys.

Kyle, you cannot tie either one of us, since we are both exactly 2 picks different. If either MV squad wins you beat me, and if either Analy or Salesian loses you beat DonFan. You are in the catbird seat my friend. Of course, it is still possible for DonFan and I to tie. So he should still pick a final total for the boys D1 game for the record.

Its all on the line for DonFan tonight. If Salesian and Analy win, he eliminates Kyle and clinches at least a tie with me. If one of them loses, he finishes behind Kyle. My fate won’t be determined until the D1 games tomorrow night. If both Newark and Deer Valley win, I can do no worse than a tie with DonFan (if both of his teams won, and then we’d go to the tiebreaker). If one loses, I’m out. Looks like Junkie is shaking it up a little bit with a slew of upset picks. Every game was a tough one to pick, so anythig can happen. Good luck to all.

Winners tonight were just as DonFan predicted:

That means Kyle is aced out and the worst DonFan can do is go to the tiebreaker if both Monte Vista teams lose tomorrow night. Should either MV team win, it means eternal glory for DonFan. He may have trouble sleeping tonight : ).

Congratulations DonFan. You were the top dog this year. Eternal Glory is yours. Eternal! That’s just something that can never be taken away from you. It’s kinda nice.
I got a chance to go up to press row and meet Kyle and Mike Bower tonight. Two really nice guys. Thanks for running the Pick ‘Em again this year guys and good job on those live blogs.
