I was out at San Ramon Valley today to see visiting Livermore beat SRV 1-0. Great game. No errors on either side and Jessica Varady and Hannah Cooke pitched really well.

In other news, Liberty lost its first game of the year. Antioch beat the Lions 7-0. So, the BVAL is going to be the back and forth horse race we all thought it would. Both of those teams are awfully good.

And finally, maybe the biggest news of the night came from the Amador Valley-California game. Amador won 4-0 behind a no-hitter from Haley Douglas. Granada lost to Carondelet, so you at the close of business, Foothill and Livermore are on top of the EBAL standings.
