Carlson qualifies for FINA World Championships

Las Lomas High senior-to-be Kasey Carlson finished second in the 100-meter breaststroke at the USA National Championships today in Indianapolis and qualified for the FINA World Championships in Rome later this summer.
Carlson broke Jessica Hardy’s Championships record in the prelimins with a time of 1:06.66, but Olympian Rebecca Soni came back and broke Carlson’s short-standing record with a 1:05.34 in the finals.
