Nick Montana, the son of Joe Montana and a former quarterback in the De La Salle football program, has garnered an invite the highly-prestigous ESPN RISE Elite 11 quarterback camp. Montana transferred to Oaks Christian-Westlake Village after his sophomore year and had a standout junior season with the Lions. He recently gave an oral commitment to Washington for the Fall of 2010. Montana was one of three California QBs to earn an invite.

Congrats to Nick. He sure made the right choice to transfer to Oaks Christian, as he may have been the 3rd best QB in the EBAL this year if he’d stayed at DLS.
