Las Lomas’ Kasey Carlson, who already has one bronze medal to her credit at the FINA World Swimming Championships in Rome, finished up her couple of weeks abroad today with a sixth-place finish in the 50-meter breaststroke. Carlson actually broke the American record in her preliminary swim, but that mark was bested by Rebecca Soni in today’s finals.
