Campolindo High girls basketball player Meghan Ringer has made an oral commitment to Southern Utah. The 6-foot-1 Ringer averaged 10.9 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game on 45-percent shooting last season as a junior, and was a second-team all-Diablo Foothill Athletic League selection.
“I picked Southern Utah because they seemed to have the best fit for me. I really liked the coaches, and I wanted to be part of something that is going upward,” said Ringer, who also mentioned she liked that Southern Utah plans to play her at power forward instead of center.
Meghan also considered Boise State and Montana State before choosing the Thunderbirds.
