St. Mary’s Mauldin commits to Saint Mary’s

About the only thing that will change when Danielle Mauldin gets to college is the mascot.
The St. Mary’s High girls basketball star confirmed Wednesday that she recently committed to play for Saint Mary’s College.
“I’m really excited,” said Mauldin, a senior and returning first team All-East Bay pick. “My parents can keep watching me play. The coaches were really down to earth. … There’s a good coach-player relationship.”
Mauldin chose the Gaels over USC, Pepperdine, Eastern Washington, Northern Arizona and Brown.
“They were looking for a dominating player and said I have dominating qualities with a smooth outside game,” Mauldin said.
