I think I found the problem. Carter is only missing one more catch. In the newspaper against Cal high there is a catch for aprox. 25 yds credited to number 22. I believe that’s Carters other catch. Which would put him at 15 catches for about 324 yds which is close to what I said his stats were earlier. So I think you should check with the Washington coaching staff and see if number 22 got any catches against Cal High.

It is possible that the newspaper was incorrect. Just asking because I was at the Washington and Cal high game and Carter had four catches. I’m sorry to nag but I just want to be sure everything is correct. Is it possible to send a tape in or something so you can verify?

The stats have now been corrected for both Washington receivers. Carter was not credited for two catches for 48 yards and Romero is up to 149 yards now. These numbers have been verified through the Washington coaching staff.

I will get coach whitmer to send the stats in to that site because with 327 yards for Carter he is number three in the eastbay in recieving yards. People might want to go check him out. But thanks for the information Mr. Durkin.

Rust never sleeps and either do the recruiters from Newark Memorial High School boys basketball program. Ask any coach or AD from one of their MVAL rivals (Washington, American, Kennedy etc.) if they have had any basketball talent recruited away from their teams by Newark Memorial recently and you’ll get an ear full. Newark is currently trying to get a transfer (ringer) from Salesian who having played varsity basketball last season is required to sit out a season. That’s the rule. Washington High had an identical case last year. That player tried to appeal and it was denied. Wanna bet the Salesian transfer will be playing for Newark this season despite the rule that says he can’t? Their team is already stacked with (ringers) who have been recruited away from other high school from Fremont to Stockton. Enough is enough.

it is the 2 catches for 48 yds against cal high according to newspaper stats that are still missing for carter.

and romero according to newspaper stats has 9 catches for 149 yds 1 TD.
