Just two days after teammate Tracy Clark decided to commit to Washington State, Robert Jiles has reportedly given a similar pledge. According to CougZone.com, Jiles and Clark both committed on Friday, joining Damante Horton (Oakland) and Tyrone Duckett (Encinal), who also have committed to the Pac-10 school.

I’ll tell you what when WAZZU was going to Rose Bowls and where relavent in the Pac-10, they hand a hand in the Bay, Fred and Josh Shavies, Mawoli Davis, Lamont Thompson, Marcus Williams, the reciever from the 49ers just to name a few. Looks like there getting back to that.

The receiver is Jason Hill. He started at Washington State the same year I did … WSU was also heavily recruiting Foothill QB Sean Mannion before he decided on Oregon State.

Congratulations to all these local kids heading up north to WSU!

Good luck to the Cougars in the coming years with their local flavor.

  • THE WHISTLE

Kyle, you started at Washington State?? Maybe that was the beginning of their downfall :)

  • guru-black

kemp alameda knows nothing bout gettin kids recruited!

  • Kemp

Guru you know nothing but how to anonymously troll another man in an internet forum!

  • guru-black

kemp i’m i lyin? you guys could’nt even get jonathan ve’e a scholarship! we all know he is a d-1 talent! coach rocklin i mean herman munster aint takin you guys anywhere & you know it!

  • Kemp

Guru, I can tell you are interested in me and Alameda overall. If you ever want to have a chilled out, common sense, common respect discussion, please enter into one properly. Until you show that baseline level of respect, how am I supposed to have a real discussion with you? I came into this thread to give props to kids who handled their business to move on to the Pac-10, NOT to get into an Internet flame war with an anonymous screen name. If you ever want to really discuss in an honorable fashion, we can, until then, please try to keep from bringing my name into discussions. Thank you and peace to you man.

Rickey Galvin reportedly has a visit scheduled to Wazzu and has an offer from the Cougars. They are really hitting the East Bay hard this year.

  • E_Culb
