Why is it that McGovern has 8 TD’s 8*6=48 pts
and Stancil 8 TD’s are 44 pts?
shouldn’t Turray have 48
and McGovern 50 with the 2pt convo

and LOL SRV DEFENSE. 27-6 last year says it all srv over mv.

ANYBODY WASNT CONCORD AND OAKLAND SUPPOSED TO HAVE ATHLETES AND GOOD OFFENSES (FOR THEIR DIVISIONS)?

ALL I HEARD WAS DAMANTE HORTON O-HIGH, DAVE DOUGLASS O-HIGH, FOREST HIGHTOWER – CONCORD, ALEC PICA, RAY BUFORD, RICKY LLOYD, ETC

THEY DIDNT DO NOTHIN THEY GOT SHUT DOWN LOOK AT HIGHTOWERS NUMBERS, LLOYD HAD 4 PICKS, AND SRV PROVED IT IS BETTER AGAINST THE RUN THAN THEY EVER HAVE BEEN. AND DONT THEY ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD SECONDARY? CAL AND JAVIER WONT RUN THEM OVER THIS YEAR. REGGIE DAVIS MIGHT TEAR THEM APART, BUT WITHOUT A LEROY GREEN TYPE OF PLAYER AND A WEAK D THAT IS 10X BETTER, THE WOLVES ARE NO PUSHOVERS

You may be right and perhaps that will bear out that they are statistically better than they have appeared so far. Now that you are in league, you will probably play the starters more often, so the numbers will come down. Best of luck this year.

Whistle, Your right they do play a passive D (and have for years) they are the bend don’t break type. I am just saying that the yards against isn’t as bad as it looks really only Logan did a lot against them (and that was the QB kid had a great game) the RB from Heritage had a 60/70 yds in the 4th quarter I see them as more of a middle of the pack D is all I am saying but your other point is extremely valid they score a ton of points at the end of the day…

Litleman, I would agree more except for the fact it’s been Monte Vista’s MO to have 500 yards of offense and allow 400 yards on defense for years now. But hey, at the end of the day, it’s all about outscoring the other team which they do most of the time. So, if it’s not broke ……

Why rank QB’s by yardage and not rating? You could throw 50 times a game, get lots of yards and still not be a good statistical quarterback.

Pitt and Heritage were running their 1st team offenses also too try and not be embarressed Heritage (41-7) in the 4th Pitt (45-18)in the 4th

MV defensive numbers are kind of misleading since the 2nd and 3rd teams were in for the 4th quarters against Heritage and Pitt because they were up by so much.
