I think right now for B-High just as it is for all teams, that it is one game at a time. Barring some complete weird happening of events berkeley and DLS won’t play in the first round or second round for that matter depending on the bracket size. I will say though that the one concern I would have for berkeley is the fact that they have not been in a competitive game in a long time. Some look at this as a good thing because players are rested etc… but you also have to look at it where the starters haven’t played four quarters of football in a while. I think something like this showed in the DLS-MV game. DLS had been playing games where the starters where on the field all game. MV had four blowouts where most starters were done by middle of third quarter. It showed when the game got to the fourth quarter as the Spartans started to dominate the MV O-line that had been very good for most of the game and the players in general looked tired. In the playoffs you will be going four quarters.

Come on jacketfan. When they get to the playoffs there will be plenty of 3rd and longs. What will they do to get out of them? Run Galvin? If so that might result in a loss because nobody will respect your passing game in 3rd and long situations and will stack the box to try and contain Galvin to just 100 yards.

mandown B-high has not had many 3rd and longs. when they have thrown it has been for first downs.

De La wins with the veer but they also can throw the ball very good. De La can chuck the ball all game and still beat teams. Berkeley can’t throw to get out of 3rd and long.

sound like b high has coach singletary mind set, u hit em in the mouth, must b a great o line coach to b able to run with mostly 8 and 9 man fronts. good job o line and its coach
