First round of playyoffs coming up.All this talk about alhambra that they will go down.I have to DISAGREE.Alhambra has has close games but always come out with a win. They have a good ranked quarter back,calhoun,madrid,leaf,bullis,argenal running in the back feild. Recievers Davis,Braz,Krunnmen,Williams,Bear are all key reciever.Blockin the quarter back are all beast.Biggest line in section. The defensive linemen, line backers Madrid Leaf and Bullis,with a good second dary are doing what they have to.YOu will see alhambra winning.

campo never gets respect and the thing is it never matters we play football the way that it should be sound mechanics and team play its sad that that gets over looked now a days. Campo thrives being the under dog and now with the hot dons being defeated by the cougar there is no way they should not get in.

and how can you put ec in #9 come on now do your math right…im sure the coaches from encinal were laughin when alameda lost.

I dont know if the screen pass would be considered an extreme arial attack.

Ran one screen pass so many times. All to that number 11. He just out ran the LBs because the DBs were being blocked by all the “recievers” out there.

Thats why i dont think they really got picked apart. Moreau defended the deep pass decently well with the only actual pass that went further than 6 yards downfield that got completed was one that the Piedmont QB avoided the Dline for about 10 seconds. Not exactly fair to expect the secondary to defend taht long. Lets see how they fair tonight.

all comes down to who runs the veer better and who plays their assignments right.

@KNIGHTS: Moreau Catholic is no longer an easy win. In fact, most of the BSAL is very tough. The only easy wins this year are John Swett, Albany and JFK-Richmond. Even in losses, Moreau brings it. I can understand that you may think that taking into account the past 7-8 years or so, but trust me, this program is very different now, and it looks like it will only improve for years to come.

That night the Moreau passing defense was picked apart. MC’s stregnths are against inside run, there d-line and inside backers clean up niceley. The A-11 doesn’t do that. That’s waht happend. Piedmont took away the most dominant part of Moreau’s arsenal.

Actually I didn’t make that game. I’ve been to all the Moreau home games and the St. Mary’s Game. I have heard that they had too much speed, scored quick and had 28 points at half time. Too many points for Moreau to catch up.
