Galvin and Cunningham two different backs. Both are doing great though it seems, hope for the best for both of them.

Pride – Amen brother. Nice to read a post that celebrates both backs. Too often on this blog, it is an “either/or” as opposed to “both/and.” Well done Pride.
Go Panthers!

Ned B High and Williams EC are two other nice running backs, in the East Bay. Run Rickey Run, Go Jackets!

Galvin and Ned yrds per carry are amazing. There are a lot of good backs in this league. How many of them are coming back next year??

Cunningham is the only back i know that is a junior and coming back next year.

Watch for Isaac Richard from SM. He will have a nice season next year for the Panthers. Aaron Prier from Salesian will also return next year. He should be considered one of the top returners for next season.
Go Panthers!

Panther Fan I hope Salesian will join the BSAL for Football, so Prier will get the respect that he deserves along with the rest of the Salesian student-athletes Football players.

All Day – I agree. I think it would be beneficial for Salesian and the BSAL. I really do. Everyone would win. Hopefully, that happens.
Go Panthers!

Panther Fan, The ball is in Salesian’s hands if the A.D wanted to do it. But remember he is also the Football cpach too. The only sport that they don’t participate in is Football for BSAL contests, why is that Panther Fan?

That’s a good question. How long has Salesian been in the BFL anyway.
November 13th, 2009 at 12:59 pm
Too long, good student-athletes futures are being put to the side the athletic dept. @ Salesian (AD) does not think that they can compete in the BSAL on a continous basis year in and year out. I beg to differ especially when you are the Football coach. Have faith in your coaching ability (?????) and the most important yor student-athletes. A. Peier and his teamates needs to showcased in the BSAL where the competition is better. Their game tonight against the California School for the Deaf is a mismatch it does nothing for either team execpt inflate stats for the winner(Salesian).

Do you really think it’s because the AD doesn’t think they can compete with the BSAL or because it guarantees a good playoff seeding. I read the latter on another blog.
