I was at the Cal/Washington game, but word is that Foothill QB Sean Mannion has threw for over 550 yards in the first three quarters against Logan.

wow im guessing Mannion is having a monster game. Probably thrown quite a few passes to Rowland as well.

Mannion to Rowland (and Berrigan, and Kacinsky, and Moore, and Bussani) was pretty incredible. Rowland over 300 himself. Could not be stopped. Incredible how open he was. Last time Foothill played DLS Rowland was not there.

you will find no bigger foothill booster, but thinking they beat dls…. really?????????????????????

Maybe now some RESPECT and a little love should be handed out to the Washington H.S. Huskies!
Kudos to WHS coaching staff for OUTCOACHING and preparing the dogs for what majority of you thought was not possible. Tonight showed that stepping up and playing a top schedule pays off. As an alum an a huge supporter my hats off to the coaching staff for the body of work. You guys showed tonight that good coaching exists outside of the ebal.
Major props to the young men of Wash for coming out and playing your tails off! This was by far the most physical you have played all year. Execution was remarkable and the way you guys completely shutdown a quality football team 2x @ home when it counts the most is quite the accomplishment.
Next up College Park.. come see us!
p.s. Reggie who?

Just stated the fact, Whistle. Try facts sometime! Can’t jump to conclusions from limited facts bud.

That has to be maybe the most impressive performance by a qb in Northern California all year. Props to Mannion who I feel is overall the best qb in NCS and I would put him up there as potentially the best in NorCal but thats another story.
Yes Rowland was not there when they played DLS but that also means this is his first time seeing the Spartans this year. It is going to be interesting to see how the Spartans come out with their defense next week if they start with their usual 4-4 or if they go with what worked in the second half when these teams met by putting in another safety. That adjustment really gave the Falcon offense fits. And don’t forget the smacks Foothill had laid on them by the Spartan D.
Plus teams have not had much success if any if they face the Spartans a second time in the season. Foothill does have the playmaking qb but he will have to have another monster game and hope for some Spartan miscues. Foothill played a great 2 and a half quarters last time. To beat DLS you have to play all four. But i’m sure Mannion would love nothing more then to beat DLS in his last time facing them.

Better running game for Foothill also has emerged, which should help a little. Big question is Foothill trying to stop the two-headed monster DLS running attack. Can Mannion and Rowland keep DLS off-balance just enough to try to outscore them… Logan scored plenty, but was outscored hugely by the pass. DLS always pretty confident at home, not too likely to make too many mistakes. Seems like Foothill only hope is to try to outscore DLS by air, keeping pressure off of Mannion on DLS rush.

Maybe MV-Berkeley is similar situation? Nottingham will need to outscore Berkeley.
