any teams out there impressing you?
December 1st, 2009 at 10:51 pm
I have not seen a match yet, my first will be on Thursday, but I have to say that Newark and Castro Valley have been the most impressive to me. Newark winning its first five games, no matter who they are against, is no easy feat and Castro has been good against real good competition.

how about a California team that tied Richmond and is looking strong.

I have been impressed with Cal so far as well, no doubt.

In the Classic, JFK Richmond vs. Logan was not played because of a bus scheduling problem at Logan. The game may or may not be played on Wednesday or Friday.

I am Mr. Bruders Student for P.E. and Auto. HE was the most nicest and friendliest person i had ever met. He was very caring and always helped in the time of need. I will really miss. Rest in Peace Mr. Bruder

do you think Cal could be a dark horse and take EBAL? or is that to much of a challenge?
December 3rd, 2009 at 11:09 pm
Saw Cal play twice this week and they are much better than I thought they would be. Will easily be a contender in EBAL.
December 3rd, 2009 at 11:10 pm
I’m becoming more and more impressed with Cal with each match. I see no reason why they can’t be a contender in the EBAL. It will be a tough challenge, but I think they are right in the mix.
Hopefully I’ll get a good look at them on Saturday.

Seen them play this week and they look complete, the kid in the middle #10 has shown himself to be a great player.
December 5th, 2009 at 9:44 am
Has anybody seen Campo or Acalanes play?
December 7th, 2009 at 9:48 am
I saw Acalanes in pre-season play, so no comment. But I did see Granada Saturday night and, if they execute every game at the same level, they will be tough to beat. Cal may also be the real deal given their success in the tournament (I did not see them play). Dispite the score (3-1 Cal win), Arroyo is a very good team and by no means an easy opponent. Hats off to Granada and Cal, and all teams that competed in the tournament.

Campo thumped 3-0 by Las Lomas tonight. LL that good or off night for Campo?
December 10th, 2009 at 8:23 am
Campo is a little young this year, but they’re still good, so I’d say it was still a pretty good win for Las Lomas.

Watch #5 from San Ramon Valley High School, Only a sophmore but plays with so much speed and intensity a little short but the hardest working player on the field. San Ramon is also stacked in the goal keeper postion with 2 already established keepers plus Dallas Jaye a junior olmpic team goalie.
December 2nd, 2010 at 9:39 pm
Cal once again impressive. They will be playing in the final Saturday, however Rivas will not be there with football duties as he has played with the team all week. Should be a little different without him there and you have to know the kid is hurting.
