LET’S GO JETS
December 11th, 2009 at 6:40 pm
Carmel and Seaside are rooting for the Jets. Jets win, and either Carmel or Seaside go to the state bowl.

Kyle is having some technical difficulties right now. He’s hoping to get the blog started shortly.
December 11th, 2009 at 7:16 pm
It was reported on the blogs earlier in the week that Carmel did not submit the proper paperwork or selection of Div. to make state. What’s up Jimmie Durkin, are the legit to get in?
December 11th, 2009 at 8:11 pm
Jets have had slow first halfs vs. virtually every good team they played all year.
Look for Jets to Explode in 2nd half.
Final prediction: Jets 28 vs. Marin Catholic 17
December 11th, 2009 at 9:00 pm
Well done Marin Catholic, congratulations on winning the NCS Division 3 Title. Good win vs. a great team, you earned it tonight.
December 11th, 2009 at 9:00 pm
Listen, it’s just Marin Catholic’s year. I watched them when they weren’t in their present league, played some WCAL teams and others out of their area. They have always been well-coached. Remember them coming into De La off a 9-3-0 yr and getting waxed 48-00.
I don’t think the logic about Encincal playing in a weak league ? holds true. The BSAL has SM, SPSV and Piedmont. Lot’s of college kids playing. Encinal is in a better place than the ACCAL. These teams have good coaching and resources- Encinal be happy with your league- they are class acts too.
December 11th, 2009 at 9:29 pm
Old Meddling- the Jet’s represented the BSAL and themselves well. Another great season.
To the stuck in the mentality that speed over good coaching and discinpline- it doesn’t always add up.
Another thing, it’s not about diversity- it’s about the team concept. Encinal won with a team concept all year, when one star was shut down, another stepped up. MC stuck with the basics and has a heck of a running back, might be another Patrick Walsh(Serra coach) when he was at De La, 2400 plus yds and 36 tds, played at San Jose St and later baseball for Texas. White boys, black boys, yellow boys and brown boys can all play football. Big and tall, small and fast, slow and steady, the common denomiator is heart.

What was the Encinal/MC Score????

Marin catholic stuck to their gameplan controlled us great job they deserve the title. Come back strong next year

It looks like a sweep for the Redwood Empire for the mixed D2 & D3 playoffs. Since the mixed East Bay & Redwood Empire playoffs started four years ago for D2 & D3 (3A & 2A), the Redwood empire has taken 3 out of four in each division. D2 Eureka, Cardinal Newman, SRV, Cardinal Newman. D3: Marin Catholic, Encinal, Novato, Novato.
December 11th, 2009 at 10:09 pm
The Jets time has past back to 3and7 next season
December 11th, 2009 at 10:44 pm
Well the better team won tonite. Congrads to Marin Catholic. Bleacher fan,I’m sure your overjoyed. MC,Hope you go to state. Jet Pride!
December 12th, 2009 at 12:12 am
Bleacher fan you must be an idiot. Encinal has TOO much young talent and speed for next year. Banks, okamura, allen, trodder, big morrow, whitehead. Etc.. If anything encinal will bring back home where it belongs.
Encinal will be stacked
December 12th, 2009 at 10:22 am
Alhambra vs marin catholic should have been the championship game encinal got murdered
December 12th, 2009 at 10:41 am
definately a great showing for the redwood empire they deserved it as they played real good football…but remember most of easy bays best teams reside in d1…as the san joaquin and redwood empire’s are loaded in d2 and d3….only a few good real good d2 d3 schools in east bay each year, we just don’t have the overall depth…
realistically this year only encinal from the east bay would even be in the top 13 or 14 of d1 this year and they would be a close call…as the #10 and #11 advanced to the semi’s and the #14 had a nice upset over a #3…
December 12th, 2009 at 12:10 pm
Encinal was way over rated this season. There are powder puff leagues with stronger schedules. The Jets are 2 years behind in scheduling quality teams there year for the bowl selection was 2008. IF they try to step up next season they will just get slapped up so bow down to the Northbay you little Jets.
December 12th, 2009 at 12:20 pm
Someone was stating here a few weeks ago that Encinal would beat every team in the EBAL except DLS. I’d like to see them schedule some EBAL teams (maybe Foothill, AV, Cal or SRV) to put that notion to the test. My guess is they would beat Livermore and maybe Granada, but would have their hands full with every other EBAL squad and maybe come out 3-5 or 2-6. They should stay far away from MV or DLS.
December 12th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
MV isn’t near the level of DLS so don’t even put them in the same discussion… we seen that by that 44-7 shellacking
December 12th, 2009 at 12:32 pm
OK, maybe Encinal should consult with their neighbors from Berkeley then before scheduling Monte Vista.
December 12th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
Wow Bleacher, The hate is really coming out. Well I told Jimmy the haters would have a field day. Well what can you say, Marin Catholic did the thang and i have to take my hat off to them. I really hope they make it to State and win. And keep in mind 12-2 is still 12-2 And based on your last post bleacher,You sound a bit inmature. Why all the hate? Jet Pride!
December 12th, 2009 at 1:49 pm
Sounds like Encinal just had a bad game. nine fumbles with three lost sounds like the stat from DLS-Don Bosco. Can’t win playing like that. Still another good season for the Jets I bet their schedule will only get tougher next year.
December 12th, 2009 at 2:10 pm
congratulations to marin catholic.
congrats to the jets too for a great season.
December 12th, 2009 at 2:43 pm
GREAT game marin. I love the jets. But marin were roooting for you guys to go to state! And win one for nCs!! And bleacher coach??? Marin and miramonte beat you weak ass in novato, so get the hell off the blog, you old mother f*****, and honestly your the biggest loser in the world hahahahahahhahahahahahaha that’s like a jet roooting for the hornets of alameda, or a san raman valley ream rooting for a monte vista team, . You just don’t ever root for your rivals too win, I guess last year lost still hurts.
booo whoo. Hahahahahahah you loser. BUT anyways much props to the marin coaching staff!!!. Came out and played some trck plays! Congrats!
December 12th, 2009 at 4:50 pm
Chopper you crack me up you no nothing about football you joined the the Jet coaching staff so you could get a couple of free shirts a hat and the team dinners. In trade you get to bring out the equipment and provide water to the boys. Iam not a Novato fan by default I am a Norcal football fan I just want to watch the programs year in and years out. So take your charter school program and go rectruit a football team loser
December 12th, 2009 at 5:31 pm
yeah lots of hate for encinal…they had a great season and have a good team…
i think a lot of the hate comes from when you talk about getting dissed in state bowl discussions before you even win your section…
and then the whole we would finish 2nd in ebal comment is a little crazy until you start beating d1 opponents…
i think all the fans are lumped together now, eventhough some of you are very logical and support your program to the end.
i give a lot of credit to some of you fans and the coach for giving mc the credit rather than just blame the game on their poor play but rather say we flat out got beat…kudos to their coach for that, no excuses…very few coaches do that.
that is something some of the ebal fans could learn from though sorry to say…but yes you are still the superious league in east bay…
December 12th, 2009 at 6:11 pm
Is Carmel eligable for the state game- it was reported early in the week they didn’t fill out the proper paperwork. Whats’s up?
December 12th, 2009 at 7:47 pm
O man bleacher coach again trying to hide his identity. Ur a NOVATO fan. Quit hating because your program got shut down twice in a row.
Wen i was at ur game against miramonte that you lost it looks like you have a pretty good stingers team. Maybe you should stay dormant until they roll around haha, say 5 years. Because until then novato is just a regular old program.
December 12th, 2009 at 9:03 pm
What the hell you be a nor cal fan?? And pigs fly, your calling me stupid,?everybody on this blog knows your a liar. Lol again your the biggest loser in the world ahhahaahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahah!!! O god. Hahahahahahahhahahah u crack me up, hahaaahhahahahahahhahaha ur honestly the bigest loser I know, I wish you had a picture, so I can just laugh hella harrdd
