Yes… the folks at American that have also have felt the pain of Ashmores recruiting would maybe be justified in their anger but no not biased. Newark has raided from ALL the MVAL schools for years and people are starting to compare notes and connecting dots.. I am not aware of Washington recruiting at junior high schools so please give me an example and I will look into it. If it were true it could only pale in comparison to what Ashmore has done.. Willy is not on the Newark staff but he is the pipeline.Willy gets them young and delivers them to Ashmore.If Ashmore coached this year Irvington Squad would he win half his games? It’s has more to do with the talent he has recruited that bolsters his squad than his talent as a coach.

Wow, how many different names do you go under. An insider from American huh, they wouldn’t be bias at all! If you ask someone else from the league did they think that washington recruits at the other junior high schools I think that you would get the same answer. But whatever, do I think that Newark has benefitted from the aau factor sure but the last time I checked willy is not on the Newark staff. I am only saying that once you put any head coaches name out there you need to have more than hearsay. And since witchever name you want to use never answer my questions I will answer yours. If you gave all of the league teams the same talent level would Newark have that streak, probably not. I will tell you this I beleive that Ashmore would still have the same number of league titles because I think that he is the best coach in this league by far!!

Just got off the phone with a MVAL insider from American High. When I asked him if he thought Newark recuits he had a good laugh, agreed that they did and went on to say that if Newark had not snached those Centerville kids away from Washington that Washington would be the team everyone would be talking about. Oh, it is not about the players but you mention them by name, you need to wake up and smell anything, when has a brother had any kind of starting or staring role in husky land? If those parents felt like washington would have been the best place for their kids tee shirts would not have worked, and you have not commented on any questions that I have asked? I kind of hope that washington does beat newark or plays them tight I think that it will help with some of your issues to see that the school that does not recruit, right, plays by all of the rules, right, never gets any transfers, right, can still beat the big, bad, wolf over in newark! Maybe that will help the ADULTS best interest over in huskyland.

Don’t try to justify newarks actions. They have recruited (exerted undue influence and made contact with junior high athletes not in their district) for years. During the Spain and Hardin years, half their roster didn’t even reside in Newark. In recent seasons McCall, Bayanzai and Ezeofor were blatantly recruited.

Hey local Coach wake up and smell the coffee. Newark recruits and Washington does not. Newark is corrupt and Washington plays by the rules. If Washington had Randle & Andrews who be top dog in the MVAL? Randle & Andrews were recuited and that is a fact! Ashmore, Willy and the rest of the requiters did what is best for the ADULTS who represent NEWARKS best interest and that all about the ADULTS best interest.This is not about the players… Care to comment?

Hey Sootless there is no winning with you, I know for a fact that your washington coaches talk to kids from the other local junior high schools not just centerville, and they also invite kids to their open gyms. I don’t need a tee shirt my kids went to the school that was best for them. I could live right next door to washington and my kids would never go there! But like I said washington is good this year with their new transfer, or you mean you guys got a player that did not start off going there wow but since he had to sit out last year thats ok. So it is ok for washington to get them from the other junior high schools, it is when they decide to go to Newark it is wrong! Nice logic. And to compare this to the O.J mess shows your class.
