CP’s Raciti commits to SJSU

More good news for Central Contra Costa football fans who are also San Jose State supporters. College Park ATH Travis Raciti, who can play defensive end, linebacker, tight end and offensive line, has given his oral commitment to play for the Spartans next season according to his dad. We’ll have more once we talk to Travis this afternoon.

    Congratulations Travis. another local kid staying close to home. really hope the Spartans can do well with the influx of local talent and keep that pipeline alive.

    i doubt either plays a true TE position…lousi will play some H back early on possibly and so could raciti, but i think both will be defensive lineman by the end of their careers at sjsu…although raciti is a definite athlete and could see some backer depending on their scheme.

    both should have good careers their…looks like wazzu and sjsu the big winners in east bay this year.
