Foothill kicker James Langford has given an oral commitment to play football at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo according to his dad.
Langford was a first-team All-East Bay selection. He connected on 8-for-12 field goal attempts for the Falcons this year including four of 40 or more yards. In the Holiday All Star Classic he kicked a 57-yard field goal (shown below).
He chose the scholarship offer to Cal Poly over being a preferred walk-on at Stanford. He also received interest from Stanford, Oregon State, San Diego State, Washington State, San Jose State, Cal, Utah State, Montana State, and others.

This is great news for Cal Poly. They need this young man. He will be great. James Langford great job.
Maybe the Coach at Foothill should notice the talent he has produced in the last four years to D1 schools and help other young men to accomplish the same success in the future.
Smith, McGuinness, Johnson, Andrews, Millard, and now Langford.

Completely agree with you foothill fan, Matt sweeney is a amazing coach and could prepare many to play at the next level. Seems like all those guys listed above are doing pretty good at their schools too. Go Foothill!
