  • A PARENT

Don’t forget this year they also beat Berean Christian, Notre Dame, and Burlingame.

  • calfan

So if the game is close or CV loses the Ref will be THE MOST HORRIBLE REF ever.

  • S. FAN

No, just the Cal game…should have been an eay win BUT.

  • S. FAN

Castro Valley dominated the game and as i called it should have had a 2-0 win;) hey, we will take it. The EBAL was has some good teams but didn’t match up very well with CV…now on to basketball. Castro Valley boys and girls in the final four!!!!!

  • Mike

1-0 SRV at halftime. they must have dominated after the break lol. Hey do you think CV has a chance against Newark? SRV sure doesn’t against DLS.. not at saint mary’s at least.. but the final four qualify for NorCals now so everybody gets a chance against the Oakland and SJS teams…

  • S. FAN

Yea, CV matches up pretty good with Newark but their point gaurd play is really lacking. Their senior left the team after x-mas break and now they have a sophmore. He is good but inexperienced. We’ll see. CV has not put a full game together yet.

  • S. FAN

    CV’s gaurd play that is.

  • A PARENT

DRUM ROLL PLEASE……….CV NCS DIVISION 1 GIRLS SOCCER CHAMPIONS! Two HAAL teams are CHAMPS this year I guess were as good as the “best of the rest.” WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!

  • EBALDad

A large dose of CROW is on the BBQ!
Congrats CV on winning the D1 Girls Championship.

now as for “dominating”, hmm, CV had a real tough time with SRs left side, so while CV won, in no way would I call it dominating.
Two really quality strikes by CV from distance, one in the run of play one on a set piece.

    Congratulations again!

  • A PARENT

Who said CV dominated? Who cares THEY WON!

  • EBALDad

well, just up the board you’ll see

    “S. FAN Says:

Castro Valley dominated the game and as i called it should have had a 2-0 win;)”

    but AParent, you are correct
THEY WON and that’s all that matters.

    Congratulations!

now will CV play in the top level of the Tri Valley Tournament?
    (sorry, couldn’t resist)

  • S. FAN

I put a wink at the end. Do you get it? I guess not. Go back and pay for some more “professional” training and don’t forget to arrive in your hummer and maybe have some blonde pony tails hanging out the window. Sorry, couldn’t resist…idiot

    CV domination!!!!

  • Posh hoodlum

    @ S. Fan

Hummers and blonde pony tails of course. I’m glad you think so highly of the life style we choose to surround ourselves in. Sorry i didn’t pick broken down impala’s, braids and gang signs hanging out the window.

    Education Rules!!!!

  • EBALDad

    S.Fan
I did not get the wink, clearly
apparently I’m not as up to date on the texting lingo as those of you on the other end of Crow Canyon Rd.
    “my bad”
but “idiot”? c’mon, try winning with class, it’ll look better on you. Doesn’t matter if your driving a Hummer or an Escort.

Now as to your inference about “professional”training
Am i to assume you mean that the CV girls play Club Soccer for free?
I’m curious because you’ve brought that up before and it seems you’re upset about an imbalance of some kind
Are there annoying Mustang Parents out here on this end of CC Rd? of course. Do many of these soccer families throw money at a problem/issue thinking that will solve and or help? of course
I’m pretty sure we don’t have a monopoly on that segment of the population though.
Perhaps some form of envy is just eating away at you or your daughter. sorry.

    Enjoy your victory

    with class and grace

  • S. FAN

“just couldn’t resist” and “some form of envy”…sorry, not much too envy and not any class or grace.

  • east-bay-fan

AMAZING !…. adults getting down at a second grade level, insults flying…. not over the level of play, the calls or the previous
‘predictions’ of who would deserved to win NCS title in girl’s soccer … No, it’s turned into a competition between parents over who lives where and how much money they have. Pathetic.

Let’s give some credit to the girl’s, all of the teams who made it to NCS and to the teams who rose to the occasion. What a great experience it was for all of them. Remember people, we’re trying to teach our kids to practice good sportsmanship, and no, good sportsmanship doesn’t end with a hand-shake at the end of the game.

  • FormerFarmer

ah yes, the tasteless, classless bickering of girls soccer parents. EBAL dady, S.fan, just enjoy the game and stop bashing a bunch of hard working teenage girls.
