Mauldin status

St. Mary’s High girls basketball star Danielle Mauldin sat out tonight’s NCS Division IV quarterfinal game against Cloverdale as a precautionary measure after suffering a knee injury in the Bay Shore Athletic League finals, St. Mary’s coach Nate Fripp confirmed. Maudlin is expected to play in the NCS semifinals on Wednesday.

I hope Danielle is healthy and ready to go. St. Mary’s will need her to battle inside with Saidah Allen of Piedmont, who average over 20 rebounds a game.
