We’re just over halfway through the CIF state basketball championships, so it’s a good time to post an updated leaderboard. You can go back to the original post to see everybody’s picks for the final four games. We’re all unanimous on St. Mary’s-Stockton and Long Beach Poly winning, so the O’Dowd-Serra and Newark Memorial-Westchester games will decide it. I believe its a three-horse race between Jeff, Big Tae and myself. If Serra win, Jeff clinches the title. If O’Dowd wins, Big Tae grabs the lead and the Newark game will decide things between Big Tae and I.
Update: Thanks to Prep Fan for pointing out that Kyle’s point total was wrong. I had missed giving him points for the Div. IV girls game. So yes, Kyle is still a contender.

Jimmy, I think Kyle has 262, so he is still in it. His only loss thus far was D5 girls.

Kyle aces out Big Tae as the rest of their picks are the same, so Jeff still wins if Serra beats BOD, but if BOD wins it will come down to Kyle vs. Jimmy in the final game.

Congrats to Jeff, who won the NorCal/State Bracket Challenge going away. He pretty much went wire to wire, but I think he droped to 2nd or 3rd once there along the way. Good job!
