East Bay Lacrosse: San Ramon looks to avenge only loss

The only blemish, in an otherwise impressive season for the San Ramon Valley High boys lacrosse team, is a 17-10 loss to De La Salle on March 23.

After beating the Spartans in the North Coast Section finals in 2008, De La Salle has won the last three meetings, but after finally claiming the No. 1 spot in the East Bay Rankings, the Wolves are looking to stop that trend tonight.
On top of a win over St. Ignatius, stopping its 48-game winning streak against Northern California teams, the Wolves knocked off Foothill, the previous No. 1 team in the rankings, and Monte Vista, last year’s runners up.
