Follow the action live from Willie Stargell championship game

I spent today testing out a new iPhone application I just acquired and tomorrow I’m going to put it to good use. I’ll be at Willie Stargell Field at Encinal High tomorrow for the championship game of the Willie Stargell Memorial Easter Classic and you can follow the action online. Go to around 12:30 p.m. for the start of the championship game between Acalanes and Granada and enter the user ID of FFCE23264C. That will hook you up with a live scoring feed that will provide pitch-by-pitch coverage of the game. It’s a little too much work for me to chart pitch location, but you’ll get balls and strikes and see where the ball gets hit and get all the information you need. If there’s good response, I’ll aim to do this for each of the games I cover from here on out. Shoot me your feedback after the game. There will also be a Tweet that will get sent out as soon as I hit Play Ball that will provide the link and the user ID, so make sure you follow us on Twitter at @eastbaypreps
