So, the D1 baseball finals will be at Dougherty HS on Saturday, time TBA. It would be nice to have the D2 & D3 finals at the same location.
Cal tops SRV to get to the semis for the second year in a row. Not a bad effort for a team picked by the Times to finish last in the EBAL this year. Many were critical of their NCS seeding, but they beat Castro Valley and SRV both on the road.

Heritage Softball gets no mention in CC Times once again I see! Their Freshman first baseman Aliciana Ramirez has been nails in the post season, and that’s after dislocating her finger last week. No article any where about her pinch hit, walk off double off the center field fence to beat College Park, or about her RBI triple off of Paris Imholtz in the 1st inning of their quarterfinal playoff win over Antioch. Two games, two game winning RBI!
Also, Sophmore pitcher Lisa Rodrigues has been on fire in the circle, dealing out back to back shut outs. Should be a great game on Wednesday versus Freedom.
