I know quite a few schools received multiple scholarships but a lot time we don’t hear about those kids because they weren’t D1. It’s always a testament of the program when they produce multiple scholarship players.

We’re going to start work on our annual high school football preview fairly soon, so I’m sure it’ll be all systems go when it comes to football.

The Battle at the Capitol is an interesting set of games this year. Not knowing a ton about what either St. Mary’s or Concord have yet, it’s tough to project how they’ll do. I do know the teams they’re playing (Christian Brothers and Whitney) are both very solid. Should be a good day of football again this year.

There are 2 topics for articles I would like to see you do. First, seeing that players from the 2009 are closing out accepting scholarships, I would love to see an article covering the east bay schools and reporting on which players went where and which high schools scolarshipped the most kids.
Furthermore, what better way to kickoff the 2010 season than to do a feature on the East Bay teams representing us in the ‘Battle of the Capitol.’ It seems that there hasn’t been much advertisement or press for this game in our area and I’m really looking forward to it.
