Carondelet High’s swimming team has been named Swimming World magazine’s 2010 girls prep team of the year.

The Cougars won the North Coast Section title, setting a national record in the 200-yard medley relay in the process.  Carondelet is the first Northern California team to receive the honor since Davis in 1994.

The Cougars always represent well- any school producing Natalie Couglin and Lauren Rogers(Cal) plus a host of other AAU qualifers must be doing something right. Just think if Carlson had not left after her freshman year(went to Las Lomas). All three of daughters swam for them. I rememeber my oldest Sr. year, 8 girls went on to swim college. They also have a North Coast GPA team honor every year, over 3.5 at a college prep school. P.S. Coughlin also looks pretty good :)
