Oakland High point guard T.J. Taylor, who originally committed to Santa Clara before his sophomore season, is now heading to UC Santa Barbara. Taylor decommited from Santa Clara during his junior season in a move designed to open up his options again. The 5-9, 155-pound Taylor confirmed late Tuesday that he’s now given his verbal committment to the Gauchos. Taylor was the Oakland Athletic League MVP and a second-team All-East Bay pick last season after averaging 18.6 points per game.

jets shutdown cunningham. Wat a sucka y would to alameda ur never win a playoff game but u dont care as long as u get your carries.

Thought the Jets would have put up a bigger number by the way there fans talk. There 22 man roster must have been tired.

whoever doesnt give the huge lineman from encinal a scholarship is an absolute idiot. that is a man, monster, beast, etc. among infants on the field….. WOW!

Coach kemp are serious quick hitch screens was your game plan!? Now wonder why rochlin called the old offense coordinator. Why would you let harvell play fb when your o-line stinks. Probably dnt want to get chocked out like your dc did.

Encinal did not play up to Par. Alameda played above par. There were some very questionable calls 2 on 4th & 10 or more that gave Alameda first downs which led to 9 points & helped them maintain momentum but ENcinal does not look like they’re a Big Time team. A lot of trouble tackling in the open field. D also allowed Alameda to grind on them. O all & all didn’t play too bad but the bottom line is I don’t think the Hornets are very good. So Encinal has a lot of work to do to win the BSAL & a lot more work to make some noise in the play offs.

alameda best play was on 4th n long when zebras would throw the flag to extend there drives. Cunningham 2.5 yards a carry only if he could get his gpa that high. Lucky newark missed those p.a.t’s alameda should be 0-4.

#16….you are an idiot! You wanna pile on an 18 year old kid? I guess you never made any mistakes when you were in High School, right? Or have you even got to High School yet? Regardless, he’s not getting any 1099′s from Alameda High School, and until he does, he doesn’t deserve dumb ass comments like that directed towards him. I’m an Encinal grad and fan…but you’re just an moron and a coward for talking that way about a high school kid?

Everybody that posted about anything other than TJ committing is an idiot!!!!
