Postscript to #267. I meant to say, "your clergy" and not slant to any religion in particular, HAH! No I did not.

Tack/Matt: President of what? I defer to President Obama, and as a capitalist, CEO would do for me.

Seriously, it is down to crunch time for numerous teams in D-I and D-II, and not just the bubble teams. Who wants to travel in the 1st round? Or face a #1-#4?

Can't wait for Matt Smith's update.

Should I hit the "Submit Comment" button or not? Mom???

MeVeFlo - The other issue after the Dublin Acalanes match was a group of 12 kids waited in the parking lot by the Dublin bus, cursing, threatening the visiting team, trying to start a fight and dropping enough F bombs to embarrass any adult. Not sure when a well respected school like Acalanes started to allow this behavior but this is 2 years in a row this has happened. The Dublin coach had to interject and send the boys away.
NCS rules state that a school administrator or coach is required to control the behavior spectators. The coach will be issued a card and or issued a forfeit if spectators are not controled

As for the match - It was a terrific match and I hope these two teams face off in NCS.

The BSAL is owned by Albany the past three years they have had more talent than anyone in the league the loses where two bad game by Albany The las lomas lost was a defensive mistake thats it Albany dominated the whole game The BSAL top contenders have nothing on Albany because Kennedy lost both of their game but was never the better team.St marys beat albany in the begging of the year due to the no goal keeper in the begging of the year and team chemistry and now piedmont beat albany just because albany has already won BSAL this year and many injuries are hurting them.but they have better players like BORGES#7 AHMADI #6 ALVAREZ #20 and RAMIREZ #9 with talented midfielders.I say this because i go to Albany and im a huge fan of soccer im just not very good at it but i understand the game and love it.All the other teams better watch out for ALBANY!!

A week or two ago I attended a high school soccer game wearing the home team's school colors, so I was clearly identified as a home team fan. After the game (which the home team won) one of the visiting team parents came up to me as we were both walking out of the stadium and said “Thank you for hosting this game”. I’d like to think the majority of high school sports fans are like that, and the next time I’m at an “away” game I plan to steal that line and use it myself.

Very well said Sweeper. You always know what to say to lighten up the mood. Maybe I should change my name to "Sweeper for President" being as Matt has his own one? haha

Hey Tack, play hard, make your teammates better, play fair (there's that "f" word again, DOH?) AND ignore the adults. I enjoy the passion but let your actions on the pitch speak for you and you will be respected.

The Sweeper's posting tip: before pushing the "Submit Comment" button, re-read your comment AND ask yourself if you would like your mom, coach, dad, younger sibling, priest/rabbi/minister, or the police to know what you posted, in that order. I use this approach with EVERY email, text message, posting, voice message and letter that I draft, and 30% of the time I opt out.

IMHO,the Gaels play very well as a unit and are as fun to watch as any NCS squad. See you at the pitch.
