For those who only pick up the sports section of the paper (I’ll admit, sometimes that’s even me), here’s a link to a story I wrote that ran on today’s front page. It’s about Granada High’s Tyler Pagett, who was injured in a game Dec. 15 and is now permanently blind in his right eye. That hasn’t stopped him from delivering a few very impressive performances.

That is a great story Jimmy. I had heard about this inury before he made the comeback, and I was told he would be done playing basketball forever. Best of luck to this kid.

An inspirational story about how a kid overcame a fall in his life and succeeded. Who could not appreciate it?
