I would have at least given them an 8th seed, hosting a first round home game, after upsetting top-seeded Montgomery at Montgomery in the league playoffs. Hope they can get a good road win Wed.

Yeah, hosting priority always goes to league champion. It’s only based on the seeding if both teams are league champs or neither are league champs. So Kennedy would to travel if it and San Marin both win.

That’s why the CV-O’Dowd game was so huge the other day. Both teams were likely No. 1 seeds regardless, but only the winner of that game has the comfort of knowing it will host throughout the playoffs.
