Granada’s Pagett overcomes blinding injury

Nike Coach of the Year clinic comes to Concord

I tossed something up on this last year and then almost forgot this year! The Nike Football Coach of the Year Clinic is coming to the Concord Hilton starting tomorrow. It’s a 3-day event, where coaches speak on topics ranging from defending the zone read to special teams coverage.

This year’s keynote speakers include Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, TCU coach Gary Patterson, Washington coach Steve Sarkisian, Stanford coach David Shaw and Fresno State coach Pat Hill. Various high school coaches will also speak, and this year’s California Interscholastic Federation bowl champion coaches will also be honored.

You can check out the clinic here if you’d like to head over and get schooled on the ins and outs of football.
