(8) Teams are D1, (4) Teams are D2 and (2) teams are D3. Some of these teams play in a very week league and improve their rankings cause of it. However, look out for the teams that have been hit by the injury bug to rebound and make a run.
James Logan and Pinole Valley have played everyone and have earned their ranking with outstanding teams. Amador Valley has the pitching to contend with all. Newark Memorial continues to be in the top 10 every year and plays a pretty tough schedule. Concord continues to do a very good job and continues to out hit most they play. Freedom has an offensive weapon in Padilla this is unmatched but will Williams be able to handle the circle (2nd pitcher might be better than than Williams). California and Antioch relies on their pitching and their offense will be tested come playoffs. With the injury to Wright (Ca) we hope she recovers fast will impact this team. Heritage has Ramirez but not able to protect her and Rodriques can dominate at times. Arroyo has played in many tough games that will help them down the line. Alhambra and Albany should battle for the NCS D3 title. Berkeley, Castro Valley and Alameda have come on in the last few weeks.
Do not count out the following for NCS:
D1:Amador Valley to win against a BVAL (Heritage or Antioch)
D2:Pinole Valley against the Winner of (Rancho Cotate, Concord or Carondelet) Wells is due back after missing the past 11 games and will provide a spark. Rematch of these games from earlier in the year will help them in the finals.
D3: Alhambra versus Albany may come down to a missed sign to dictate the winner.
D4: St Patricks/St Vincent has no reason not to win!

I agree with most of your point. I feel
D1-Wide open. Any number of teams can win it.
D2-You nailed this one. Pinole is the clear favorite though.
D3- Albany is way over rated. 0 quality wins and probably the softest schedule I have ever seen. Comes down to Alhambra, Tamalpais, Moreau Catholic and O’Dowd. Alhambra will probably get the 1 seed.
D4- Should be St Pays in a cake walk

Castro Valley beat Pinole and gave them their only loss this season. Arroyo just crushed Castro Valley 13-3 and are probably gonna be HAAL champs. I wouldn’t take Arroyo lightly their new coaches have them playing hard.

I was thinking Arroyo was D1. I think they will get the 3 seed in D2.

Arroyo has been playing off the hook. I wouldn’t under estimate them in the tournament. I don’t see Alameda mentioned anywhere they too have the capacity to go deep.
The 2 time defending D3 champs Bishop O’dowd have been playing well lately. Close loss to Arroyo, Castro Valley and Tamalpais are telling. They also beat Moreau after getting beat badly at the end of the season. They play the tournament well and have been there before.
