I saw the amador valley-logan match up last night and it was great! Both teams were solid and the only rallies were off rare errors. Amador was just able to take advantage of their opportunities.

AV’s left fielder nailed a logan runner at the plate with a precision throw and AV’s #24 had an inside the park homer with a clutch hit as logan’s outfield was playing shallow. That girl is faaaaast!

I was at the Alhambra/Moreau game as well. Very impressed with Long in the circle. She pitched an excellent game and made a couple very athletic plays. Those leadoff walks always seem to hurt. Also, I thought the elements bothered her in the last inning.

I thought Alhambra’s second pitcher was very good as well. I have seen Alhambra 3 times this year and that is the first time I have seen her pitch.

Was at the Alhambra – Moreau game and wanted to give props to Shelby Long, the Moreau pitcher and #3 hitter. She almost managed to singlehandedly beat the #1 seed. A leadoff walk in the 7th inning was her only mistake.

Although BOD isn’t the same as the last few years, I thought they would beat Albany. So good job Albany. Love it when high school athletes go out there and get it done.

Don’t know much about Terra Linda but i assume it will be a close game with Albany.

Alhambra and San Marin should be a good game as well.

Here’s the thing Concord has never faced Rancho in recent years as the favorite, and more importantly Concord has never lost in recent memory. I am sick of having to drive all the way to the north bay for all of the play-offs, to beat them. NCS SEED CORRECTLY hosting is a big deal.
