Matt, Great job covering volleyball this year. Hopefully the MVAL will get the Castro Valley Boys team back next year. The College Prep/Valley Christian semi was also very intense.

I agree with Conaanaa. SRV was selected to D I NCS and COllege Park did not. If your team did not get a bid for post season. They should not be on the top 15 list

SRV beat Campo 2-0 and Amador in 2 matches (2-1, 3-2), took Deer Valley to 5. Though SRV’s results dropped towards the end of the season, do you think they should be represented higher than teams like College Park who they beat 2-0?

Yes NG had many wins but their schedule was not as strong as FH. Beside SRV which they beat earlier in the season. Who else did their beat that are good? FH beat Deer Valley, MSJ, College Prep, and SRV. These are big teams and thought they should be ranked higher. Just my opinion.

Have to agree that the DLS vs. DV game was the most intense I have seen. Wish we could have seen the other divisions and maybe some year they can figure out how to do that. The atmosphere was fantastic at DLS. If any kids were on the fence about trying the sport it would have swayed them. We need to continue to escalate the popularity of the sport in Northern California. Matt – thanks for your coverage this year

You are right, FH did beat NG at the tourney, but I had to move Ngate up at some point while they kept winning and Foothill had some losses sprinkled in, so it just so happened that NG was one spot above FH.

Top 5 teams are where they should be. However, I would flip NG and Foothill. Did FH beat NG in their tournament? From what I saw at FH tournament, they have a better team. Thanks for covering vball this season.
