Former James Logan basketball and track standout Cheri Craddock has been hired as the Colts’ new girls basketball coach, athletic director Tom Rosenthal confirmed.
Previously, Craddock had been the head coach at American and led the Eagles to the North Coast Section Division II quarterfinals this year. After an impressive high school career at James Logan, Craddock lettered for four years in basketball at the University of Washington. She finished her collegiate career ranked 10th on the Huskies’ career list for 3-pointers made (95).
Frank Borghi, who led James Logan to a co-Mission Valley Athletic League title and the NCS Division I semifinals this year and coached the squad for three seasons, stepped down in April for personal reasons, Borghi said. His record over the three seasons was 58-30 and the Colts qualified for the NCS playoffs each of those years.

I hope the new coach gets an education on how to run a program and how to teach fundamentals.

Congrats to Cheri. I know her father, who has coached track at Logan for a long time. I am sure she will do a great job.
