I have to admit, DLS has taken a bit out of my wallet when I hit their store…I can only imagine! On a serious note, CIF should offer some transparency with revenue generated and how it’s distributed to the participating leagues or schools. Perhaps, they already do?

I wonder when high school athletes are going to start demanding payment. How much money you think CIF is making off them? I wonder when jersey sales will start?

HS FAN- You are half right; yes, all CIF cares about is money and no this is great for kids. What about when they hit a home run to win a game? This isn’t rec league.

This is terrible for kids. What is going to happen when somebody loses the game on a fumble or grounder between the legs. All CIF cares about is money. Student-Athlete my ass.

So apparently this is for all sports and not just football. They have the contract for all internet broadcasts as well, which will most likely be a bigger deal in future years of this 15-year agreement
