Comcast SportsNet California will air each of the five CIF State Championship Bowl Games live on TV this weekend, including Saturday’s Division III game between Campolindo (14-0) and Washington Union-Fresno (13-0) at noon and the Open Division game between De La Salle (12-1) and Westlake-Westlake Village (14-0). The De La Salle game will NOT be live. It will be shown on tape delay at 10 p.m.

The other games on Friday are the Division IV game at 4 p.m. between Le Grand (12-0) and Sierra Canyon-Chatsworth (14-0) and the Division I game between Bellarmine Prep (12-1) and Santa Margarita-Rancho Santa Margarita (12-2). The third game on Saturday is the Division II game between Del Oro-Loomis (13-1) and Helix-La Mesa (12-1) at 4 p.m.

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area’s SportsNet Central will also provide comprehensive coverage of the games on its broadcasts at 6 p.m, 10:30 p.m. and midnight.

Is anybody carrying the Open Game live? That sucks that the 2 top teams are not live?? What is the reason?

  2. Jimmy Durkin Says:

No, you won’t be able to catch it live, at least not locally. I believe audio will be available online at http://www.kbcsports.com and of course, you will have live coverage available here on our blog.

    Jimmy,
You said locally for the open game, that mean that if I have the west coast comcast package on direct tv, i may be able to pick it live from the S Cal feed?

    Thanks!

  4. Jimmy Durkin Says:

Maybe. I haven’t seen the SoCal TV schedule yet.

Time Warner Cable will broadcast all 5 contests.
According to Comcast(spoke to today) they will broadcast the games on ch.414 or 415 FCSC in Bay Area.
One way or another you should be able to watch!

Astound is the same delayed broadcast of Open Div Game.
Looks like us homers are getting the shaft. I also called comcast same it will be a tape re-play delay at 10:30pm

  8. Jimmy Durkin Says:

Looks like CSN California has the Sharks game airing at 7:30 and CSN Bay Area has the Warriors-Kings exhibition game at the time. That’s why they can’t air the Open Division game live. Hopefully it’s true that the other stations will have the Open game live.

Spartan Buses departed 8am for Carson after feeding 80 plus players and coaches. Very Good Spirits.
