Good news for Bay Area football fans. Previously scheduled to only be available on tape delay, the De La Salle-Westlake game this Saturday will now be televised LIVE by Comcast Hometown Network at 8 p.m.
That’s channel 104 for those of you that have Comcast. Jim Watson will handle play-by-play, Mike Pawlawski will do the color commentary and Jenny Cavnar will be the sideline reporter.
Remember also that you can see the other four games, including Campolindo-Washington Union, on Comcast SportsNet California.

Will this game be televised live on Directv? And if so what channel?
December 14th, 2011 at 8:40 pm
Daniel,
Unfortunately it will only be live on Comcast Hometown Network and that only airs if you have Comcast. Anybody without Comcast will have to wait for the 10 p.m. tape delay or find a friend with Comcast.

I am in Japan, can I get the game over the internet?

Too bad about Direct TV. I’m a subscriber. This seems to happen about every other year with a Shark’s game. I understand the contractual obligation to the Sharks but it still sucks. Sometimes the Sharks game overlaps and then they cut into the H.S. game at the end of the 1st qtr.

December 15th, 2011 at 5:12 pm
Will there be a live Blog from the game?
December 15th, 2011 at 5:42 pm
Ed, most definitely. I’ll be running one for the Campo game, Jimmy will run the DLS game.
Rob, I’m not sure about live video online. I know you can get audio at kbcsports.com and you can follow the action with us on the live blog as well.

What a bunch of crap that they’d only show this on a single provider’s network. It’s high school football. This should be shown across the board.
