  • Cher

When will the BVAL boys be updated, I see you have
3 players MVP/DEF etc…who is in charge of turning in? I’d like it posted.

    THANKS!

  • SoccerFan11

Can’t wait to see who the player of the year is! There are so many great players, it will be a very tough decision. I think it comes down to: Borges from Albany, Montes from Richmond, Mendoza from Richmond, and Gomez from Clayton. My pick would go to Borges.

  • BSAL Fan Too

What’s up with the BSAL All-League? I heard the Kennedy coach wasn’t even at the coaches meeting. They finished fourth in the league, yet not even one Kennedy player is listed.

Who is Antonio Ramirez of St. Joseph Notre Dame? Why is he defensive MVP? How can a team that only won 3 games in league have a league MVP?

Albany made it to the NCS Finals, yet the BSAL coaches chose to reward their own team’s players in the all-league.

  • http://aol BigDog

Looks like Kennedy is hitting the skids just like football. Need Shag to move into AD position to straighten some of these coaches out.

  • Rogue Warrior

Set up a champions league during early part of preseason and through season
Top 4 d2 teams and top 4 d1 teams ..co-mingle..and play for a CUP….East-Bay Prep CUP..award medals and CUP is passed around to winner.

  • Rogue Warrior

Las Lomas Players and Parents Unite – Change is good.

  • Shinguard

A champions cup would be cool

  • Matt Smith

    HAAL is updated.

  • Soccerman

    Matt Smith,

    East Bay MVP?

  • fan of the futbol

the u17 walnut creek team also did pretty well in the juventus showcase. 3 ties against teams much higher in the rankings then them (Mustang Celtic, Boise Nationals, and PAC Tigres) and only losing 2-1 to the 2 best team in the nation. That team is coached by Acalanes head coach Paul Curtis. He seems to be doing quite well with that team.

And matt when are you going to post your team of the year?!?!?!

  • Dval1

How about Heritage Manchester winning the premier league!! Jonathan Ayala from YV scoring 4 goals in 3 games that he played in. Jesus Maldonado from Alhambra also played well for Heritage and scored 3 goals! Coach Pablo from Pittsburg High doing a great job with this team.

  • Rogue Warrior

Heritage Manchester & Lamorinda both took it to Mustang Hotspurs who were one of the top ranked academy teams in the country. underline _WERE_. :)

  • The Truth

Rogue Warrior- what insight do you have on the changes at Las Lomas? They went from an NCS team in 2010 to the cellar. What happened?

  • Rogue Warrior

Not going to get specific but what happened at Chelsea needs to happen at LL. If run as a complete program they would be on the map as a regular contender. That program should be in the top 5 every year. That’s all.

  • Shinguard

Re LL I know some of the parents and players..granted info I have is second hand but in general all are very unhappy with the situation and are hoping something will happen to make a positive change.

  • Juan Pito

Mustang Hotspur are certainly not the team they used to be

  • Rogue Warrior

Some good stuff going on at Lamorinda..but can they keep the positive change going. Some major mojo at Heritage some good stuff U-16-17. DFC 95 starts up this weekend then it is off to Las Vegas. Good opportunity at Mustang with try-outs coming up..word is they are looking for 5-6 players for what will be the new U17 group.
Walnut Creek Legends 95 are on the hunt for a new keeper and some additional slots.
