AV’s Borchard going Ivy League

Amador Valley High softball infielder Nicole Borchard announced she will be playing at Columbia University in the Ivy League.
Borchard, a four-year starter, was named first-team all-East Bay Athletic League as a junior during the Dons 2011 North Coast Section Division I championship season. The Dons are 23-0 overall this season and 13-0 in the EBAL. Borchard is among four team captains.
