NCAA wrestling champ to instruct at Amador Valley camp

 Former NCAA wrestling champion Adam Tirapelle, coach of the 2012 CIF champion Clovis High squad, will be the featured instructor at the Pinnacle Wrestling Camp at Amador Valley (June 18-21). Camp times are noon to 6 p.m. all four days.

A two-time California state champion, Tirapelle won the 149-pound NCAA wrestling title in 2001 with Illinois, where he was a three-time All-American. The Tirapelle family is legendary in California wrestling — brothers Adam, Alex and Troy have a combined eight CIF titles and nine finals appearances. Alex Tirapelle, the Stanford coach and a three-time CIF champion, will head the Pinnacle Camp at Freedom in Oakley, July 11-14.
