Kennedy-Richmond spent their Day 1 mourning the loss of a teammate instead of getting back on the field. Ulysis Grijalva was shot and killed on sunday. Prayers to his family and team. Always a reminder that there is so much more than the game for alot of these high school kids

As of now, I believe our previews are scheduled to run either Aug. 21 or 22. We don’t have the same space in the paper this year as we have had in the past, so a bulk of the content from our previews will appear exclusively online. But we will have a chunk of it in the paper on one of those two days. Online, we’ll have just as much, if not more than we typically have.
