It will be tough still for them, a var team with only sophs! if they can beat more than emery and St Liz i will be impressed. Looks like Gumbs bought himself another team!! Hopefully the kids do well there! And I believe they had a freshman team last year, so they are making a big jump from freshman ball to varsity!! hopefully gumbs has some decent coaches. I hear he has kids from out of the area! So that should help. i am sure many of the kids he has arent from hayward.

rumor is that csd s HC and an assistant joined MSJ FB program. Looks like CSD will not be able to return to NCS this season. New HC is a young inexperienced coach.
