Dougherty Valley High’s Stephanie Amack is the youngest member of the U.S. under-20 women’s soccer team playing in the Under-20 World Cup in Japan. The U.S. routed Ghana 4-0 today in its opener, with Amack, the squad’s only high school player, on the bench. This marks the first major international women’s tourney after the London Olympics, in which Alex Morgan, Abby Waumbach and Hope Solo led the USA to the gold medal.  All U.S. games in the under-20 World Cup are being televised on ESPNU.
